| Chip Kinsey graduated from Mason City (Iowa) High school in 1963, Grinnell College (Grinnell, Iowa) in1967 and with Distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law (Iowa City, Iowa) in 1973. For two years (1967-1969) he was a Ford Foundation Fellow teaching at Cuttington College in Liberia, West Africa. He became a partner in the Mason City, Iowa Law Firm of Brown, Kinsey and Funkhouser in 1976. He has practiced law primarily in the specialty of workers' compensation since the early 1970's |

| Chip has been active in serving as an officer and board member of various Iowa Worker's Compensation Organizations including twice serving as Chair of the Iowa Bar Association Section on Workers' Compensation (1990-1991 and 2000 - 2001). He has also been President (1997-1998) of the Iowa Association of Workers Compensation Attorneys and has spoken at numerous seminars since the early 1970's. He has also served as President of the Mason City (Iowa) Noon Rotary Club (1900-1991) and as President of the Board of Trustees at the Mason City First Congregational United Church of Christ on several occasions. |

| For several years Chip has been and is currently president of Central Gardens of North Iowa Inc. located in Clear Lake, Iowa, that has built and maintained North Iowa's only public garden. Currently Chip serves as Vice-President and a member of the executive committee of Wright On the Park, Inc. (WOTP), a non-profit presently involved in the preservation and maintenance of Frank Lloyd Wright's only remaining and designed hotel and bank building located in Mason City, Iowa. |

| Chip is the owner and sailor of a 19' cruiser on Clear Lake, enjoys traveling, biking and exercising and helps to maintain his and Kathy's extensive garden in Mason City at their home. When not otherwise occupied he enjoys reading and writing. |
